In the 1990's, computer recycling actually meant computer reuse and our "Don't Dump, Donate" slogan from that era attempted to persuade business and industry to donate computers for reuse, rather than scrapping them.
We still promote computer reuse, but our name now implies that we recycle rather than reuse, which is not the case.
Reuse is more environmentally friendly than recycling, and the reasons why are explained at our new site.
